Would you be prepared to survive hordes of the undead if the Zombie Apocalypse ever happened? 10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse is a tongue-in-cheek comedy that allows the actors to explore theatre skills like SFX makeup and stage combat as well as delivering comedic, sarcastic dialogue that pokes fun at the zombie genre. Zombie actors will learn how to use liquid latex, scar wax, and theatrical makeup to create realistic wounds and bruises. This is a hilarious guide on how to survive the apocalypse!
Alice finds herself entering an old theatre to escape the boring book her sister is reading to her, hoping to catch a show. She meets a Cheshire-Cat whose opening act is to pull a rabbit out of a hole. The White Rabbit pops out, but being late, hurries back through. Alice’s curiosity gets the best of her and she decides to follow it. Her adventure down the rabbit-hole leads her to meet many colorful characters in the wild and wacky world of Wonderland. There’s The Queen of Hearts, a talking caterpillar, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, a cook making pepper soup, and the Mad Hatter, among others.
Heidi is the story of an orphaned girl who is left in the care of her grumpy grandfather at his mountain home. She makes friends, watches over the goats and is happy but is abruptly taken away to Frankfurt to live with a wealthy family so that she may attend school. Heidi’s many adventures are retold in this musical production and end with a happy reunion on the mountaintop.
Each production has its own calendar. There are extended rehearsals during Tech Week. Please see each individual show for a rehearsal schedule. Attendance at all rehearsals and performances is mandatory.
Everyone who is registered will receive a role in the show! We audition for roles not participation. We will teach you a short dance combination and a song from the show (if applicable). Readings from the script and acting games will be played for role placement. Tuition balance is due at time of registration.
Interested in joining the tech crew for a production? KUDOS will enroll youth 3rd-12th grade to perform behind the scenes tech duties for the show as well as help prepare the production for the stage. The tech crew does not meet everyday of rehearsal. Check the show production calendar for a schedule.
